Let's Work Together

From the outside, you look like you're handling it. Inside, something stopped working a while ago.

You've read the books. You know the pattern, and you know where it came from. And you still lie awake replaying conversations, still feel the dread arrive before the thought does, still react in the ways you swore you wouldn't. From the outside, you look like you're handling it. Inside, you know something stopped working a while ago.

Maybe your mind never shuts off. Maybe ADHD makes ordinary life harder than it looks like it should be. Maybe you feel everything deeply, get overwhelmed easily, and end up disconnected from yourself after spending so much energy keeping up. Or maybe you can't name what's wrong; you just know you don't want to keep feeling this way.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor providing virtual therapy to teens 15+ and adults throughout Michigan. I work with ADHD and neurodivergence, trauma and PTSD, OCD, anxiety and panic, depression, burnout, and highly sensitive people. I especially enjoy working with people who are ready for meaningful change, even when they aren't sure yet what that change is supposed to look like.

Therapy that goes beyond understanding why

Healing involves more than understanding our thoughts. It also means learning to listen to the body, emotions, and experiences that shape how we move through the world.

Knowing where a pattern came from hasn't necessarily taught your body to respond differently. Using EMDR, somatic work, IFS, DBT, and mindfulness, we'll work with both sides of that. We'll notice what actually happens when anxiety takes over or an old experience gets triggered, and build the ability to regulate from the inside out.

For trauma and PTSD, EMDR offers a way through experiences that keep affecting the present. For ADHD and neurodivergence, therapy can be a place to understand yourself, put down some shame, and find strategies that work with your brain instead of against it.

What is it like to work with me?

You don't need to arrive knowing what you want to change or having the right words for it.

We'll start with what brought you here, what's hard right now, and what you'd like life to feel like instead. From there, we'll build a plan that's realistic and sustainable. I'm not here to tell you how to live. I'm here to help you understand yourself, recognize what's no longer serving you, and build the resilience to move.

My goal isn't to get you through another week. It's a life that feels manageable, grounded, connected, and genuinely yours.

Outside of therapy, you'll find me hiking, reading, traveling, and out in nature. I believe humor, curiosity, and real human connection belong in therapy. Meaningful work doesn't have to feel heavy every minute.

I see clients virtually across Michigan through Ideal Psychology Group. Whether you're looking for EMDR, support with ADHD, or help with OCD and anxiety, I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit.
