Let's Work Together
You can simply show up as yourself.
I believe therapy should be a place where you don't have to hide the parts of yourself that feel too big, too much, or too different. I'm Emma, a therapist at IPG who enjoys working with adolescents and young adults navigating emotional dysregulation, complex trauma (C-PTSD), and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.
Reaching out for support takes real courage, especially when your emotions feel overwhelming, your past feels too present, or you're trying to navigate a world that wasn't built for the way your brain works. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to carry it alone, and you don't have to pretend everything is okay to deserve support.
My approach combines evidence-based care with genuine warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. Drawing from Mindfulness, Somatic work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT and DBT-A), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing, I work alongside my clients to help them better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I'm solution-focused, and I believe therapy works best when we work together as a team.
I also bring lived experience to this work and believe that therapy should be tailored to the individual, not the other way around. For neurodivergent clients especially, my goal is to create a space where you don't have to mask or explain who you are. You can simply show up as yourself.
If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with both compassion and evidence-based care, I'd love the opportunity to connect with you and see if we're a good fit.
